This is sure to be another sold out adventure with the Conservancy to the westernmost of California's Channel Islands, this daytrip leaves out of Ventura Harbor with will offer four different hiking options while on San Miguel Island. A pre-trip dinner will also be available on Friday, September 24th at Ventura Yacht Club.
Join us for this alfresco lunch at El Rancho Escondido, the historic Wrigley family Arabian horse ranch and current home of Catalina Island's new vineyards. Transportation to/from El Rancho Escondido will be provided.
This exhibit of plein air style artwork depicts the natural beauty of Catalina Island and will be hosted by five Pasadena area art galleries. This annual mini-symposium is a wonderful opportunity for Conservancy supporters and partners in conservation to come together for a day of in-depth presentations about many of the Conservancy's programs. This year's symposium will be held in Long Beach at the CSU Chancellor's Office. Details and online registration will be available soon.
Since the first Ball in 1996, the Catalina Island Conservancy has raised almost $3 million for its many Island projects in conservation, education and recreation through this annual event. Details on the 2011 Conservancy Ball will be available this fall. We look forward to seeing you there!
