Catalina Island Conservancy Ball, March 31, 2001
The 2001 Catalina Island Conservancy Ball was held on Saturday,
March 31, 2001. The event, "Where Eagles Soar" was hosted this year
by the Los Angeles Yacht Club and featured Les Brown's Band of Renown. Los Angeles
Yacht Club has its main facility in San Pedro and an outpost at Howland's Landing
on the island. A Sponsor Party was held at the Catalina Museum prior to the ball.
