Your safety and enjoymnent are important to the Catalina Island Conservancy. We use only state-of-the-art, cutomized eco-tour four-wheel drive vehicles, operated by trained staff and four-wheel drive, off-road training. Due to the intense nature of this experience, all participants must be ambulatory. Anyone with neck or back injuries are discouraged from taking this tour.

... is unique and exclusively designed with you in mind. Your Catalina Island Conservancy Jeep ® Eco-Tour guide will take you into the island's spectacular interior with views of its rugged coastline, where you will seek out:
- BALD EAGLES soaring high above Santa Catalina Island;
- The shy SANTA CATALINA ISLAND FOX and the prolific BEECHEY GROUND SQUIRREL, both endemic subspecies found nowhere else in the world;
- AMERICAN BISON, descendants of the original 14 brought to the island in 1924 for the filming of a motion picture;
- RARE PLANTS and PLANT COMMUNITIES, some unique to Santa Catalina Island;
- HISTORICAL and ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES spanning 6,800 years.

Three Options Available
Private, Chartered Half Day Tour for up to six people (snacks provided) : $495
Private, Chartered Full Day Tour for up to six people (lunch provided): $795
Non-chartered Three Hour Tour: $98/person, minimum of three paid seats required.
Passengers may buy out a third seat to guarantee their tour will run.

Preserving & Restoring Santa Catalina Island

The Catalina Island Conservancy is a private, nonprofit conservation organization which owns 88%; or 42,000 acres; of Santa Catalina Island. To help meet the substantial financial responsibility of protecting the island, the Conservancy welcomes contributions and solicits your membership. All contributions to the Conservancy are deductible to the fullest extent of the law, and are used to help preserve Santa Catalina Island in its natural state for present and future generations.
