The Education Department regularly schedules field excursions and other ways to learn more about Catalina ecology. You can even participate in collecting data about the plants and animals that call it home. Stay tuned for upcoming opportunities!

Community Science Event
Join Conservancy staff and other Naturalists to count and record as many birds, and species of birds as possible. We will split up into groups to cover as much Catalina, that falls in the circle, as we can!

Naturalist Workshop Series
This Workshop Series is an opportunity for naturalists to get into the undeveloped lands of Catalina Island to learn from guest experts and have time and coaching to practice a naturalist skill. Appropriate tools and a boxed lunch are provided with the registration fee.
